1. Draw a fire escape plan and teach all family members. 2. Take your cell or portable phone with you. 3. Have several exits to safety in your plans. 4. Teach everyone if there is a
fire they should crawl on hands and knees to go 5. Teach everyone in the house if
the door is hot, do not open it. If the door is cool 6. Teach everyone to call or crouch quickly using the primary escape route. 7. Close all doors behind you if possible. 8. Have a designated meeting place outside where everyone will meet. 9. Once outside make sure everyone is safe and call 911. 10. Teach everyone once your out STAY OUT. 11. Teach everyone that the fire
