The trucks that we run may be a little old but they are productive, they are in good running condition are equipped with what we need to do our job. Always remember a truck and its equipment is only as good as the fire fighters who use them. Our firefighters are outstanding at what they do and we are trained in the latest up to date and most rigorous courses.

On April 21, 2007 Citizens Fire Company No. 1 purchased a 1984 Mack with a 1,000 gallon pump. It seats 5 firefighters. It is equipped with most standard fire equipment. It has 1500 of 4" inch hose, 200 feet of cross lays, 150 feet of 1 and 1/4" of cross lays, 150 feet of trash line for blitz fires and 200 feet of 3" line. As well as the normal equipment that we use and need.

Also in 2007 we purchased a 1979 brush truck. Which has proved its worth time and time again, considering we are located in an area that is know for brush fires, off road rescues and ATV accidents. The brush truck is 4 wheel drive, seats 4 firefighters when going off road and 2 firefighters on road. It is equipped with a hydraulic wench on the front, 2 supply lines and 200 ft of supply line.
